An entrepreneur in Island City, Oregon, saw a growing need for storage space in the northeastern part of the state and ordered these 12 pre-engineered metal Mini Storage Outlet buildings to help fulfill growing demand in the area.
Purchased in late August of 2024, the buildings come in a variety of sizes and can serve traditional storage needs as well as boats, RVs and other oversize goods. Offering a combined 448 storage units, some of which feature multiple door openings, these buildings can easily accommodate both personal and commercial storage needs, offering renters a safe, secure all-season space to store belongings while protecting them from theft, moisture and the elements.
All 12 buildings in the complex maintain an attractive, cohesive look, with Charcoal-colored walls and a combination of Charcoal and Brilliant White trim adding to their curb appeal. All mini storage doors in the complex are a striking High-Gloss White, and each unit has either a Model 650 mini storage door with a stainless-steel latch or a Model 2000 roll-coil door with an Easyroller electric opener providing private access inside. Separating the storage units inside each mini storage building are rugged, 29-gauge steel partitions.
Gutters and downspouts along the roofs of the buildings ensure proper drainage, helping protect stored items from moisture while preserving the buildings’ structural integrity. DripX condensation control pre-applied to the roof panels acts as an additional level of defense against moisture and condensation. The buildings also adhere to local wind and snow load requirements, featuring 115-mph wind speed ratings and 25.2-psf roof snow loads.
