Regency Steel Buildings supplied this metal mini storage building in Reinbeck, Iowa, in 2015.
Inside the spacious, 40’x200’x12’ building with a 0.5:12 roof pitch are (40) rentable units, all of which are 10’x20’ with 9’x10’ framed openings. Each unit features one of (40) white non-insulated sectional doors with accompanying seals, which are an upgrade from standard, roll-up mini storage doors.
Also included as part of this mini storage project are Iowa engineer-stamped drawings, wedge anchors and fasteners, 29-gauge partition panels with galvalume finishes and gutters and downspouts to keep moisture off the roof and away from the building’s foundation. A roof vapor barrier is also included to help minimize the formation of condensation.
In consideration of the climate and weather patterns of the Reinbeck area, the building is engineered with a wind speed of 115 mph, a ground snow load of 30 lbs. and a roof snow load of 21 lbs.
A small city in central Iowa’s Grundy County, Reinbeck sits about 7 miles outside Voorhies and 4 miles from Morrison.
