Regency Steel Buildings supplied these mini self-storage buildings in Hampton, Iowa. Built in 2012, these mini storage buildings are located in Franklin County about 50 miles from Webster City and about 70 miles from Fort Dodge.
The owner of these steel buildings selected several upgrades to allow for units that would accommodate boats. Building A is 30’x50’x10.5’ in size and Building B is 20’x50’x10.5’. These include a higher than typical eave height 10.5’ rather than 8.5’ to fit a taller door. The doors are high quality M944 9’x9’ doors with top draft seals. The units are also longer than usual 10’x30’ and 10’x20’. The two metal buildings have Desert Sand exterior walls and Hunter Green roofs.
The roofs on both building feature a 0.5:12 pitch. The wind load for this self-storage building is 90 MPH and the snow load is 30 PSF ground snow level.
