Regency Steel Buildings sourced this prefabricated mini storage building for a customer in Uriah, Alabama in November of 2020.
Now serving as part of a self-storage complex, the insulated, energy-efficient building features durable, quality steel construction and is 50’x100’x9.5’ in size. Reliable and resistant to damage caused by pests, fire or similar hazards, the mini storage building offers optimal protection for renter assets.
The roof of the metal building is comprised of corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel and has a 2:12 pitch, and (41) framed door openings are additional features. Found throughout the self-storage facility are (39) 9’x7’ framed openings enclosing (39) Janus Model 650 9’x7’ mini storage doors, (1) 4’x7’ walk door opening housing (1) 4070 walk door and (1) 3’x7’ walk door opening enclosing (1) 3070 walk door.
The building has 4” of fiberglass insulation in its roof and walls, creating a comfortable, climate-controlled environment suitable for year-round use. Other mini storage building customizations made in adherence to local building codes include a snow load of 3.5 pounds and a wind speed rating of 115 mph.
Located in southern Alabama, Uriah is part of Monroe County. The community sits about 18 miles from Monroeville and roughly 70 miles north of Pensacola, Florida.
