Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pre-engineered steel mini storage building for a customer in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, in late March of 2015.
The mini storage building stands 20’x80’x9’ in size, and its roof is made of rugged, corrosion-resistant metal and has a 0.5:12 roof pitch. It houses (8) rentable storage units, all of which are 10’x20’ in size. All of the storage units have one of (8) 9’x8’ framed openings, and each unit also boasts a 9’x8’ Janus Model 650 mini storage door with stainless steel latches.
Additional project features for this mini storage building include gutters and downspouts, wedge anchors and fasteners, Rhode Island engineer-stamped drawings and 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume metal finishes. A roof vapor barrier is also included in an effort to prevent the formation of condensation. In consideration of the variable climate of Rhode, this building features a wind rating of 130 mph C, a ground snow load of 35 lbs. and a roof snow load of 24 lbs.
Located within northern Rhode Island’s Providence County, the city of Woonsocket is situated about 15 miles from the city of Providence and 48.1 miles from Newport.
