Supplied for a buyer with interests in the profitable mini storage industry, the building currently undergoes use as a self-storage business and stands 30’x100’x8.5’ once raised. Constructed from sustainable, premium-quality steel parts, it offers reliable protection for assets stored inside, and its roof is comprised of rugged Galvalume metal paneling and has a subtle 0.5:12 pitch.
The self-storage center has (40) separate storage units available for rent, each of which has its own access point. Distributed throughout the facility are (40) 9’x7’ framed openings enclosing (40) 9’x7’ mini storage doors. A 43-psf snow load and a 120-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations made with respect for the building codes in place in the region and the climate characteristics typical of Rural Retreat.
A lightly populated community, the town of Rural Retreat is part of Virginia’s Wythe County. The area lies about 90 miles outside Roanoke and about 45 miles from Abingdon.
