Self-Storage Building Kit in Milton, Kentucky

Regency Steel Buildings supplied this prefabricated metal self-storage building kit for a customer in Milton, Kentucky, in June of 2019.

Rugged, durable and designed to protect assets stored inside, the building is comprised of top-quality steel parts and currently serves as a self-storage business. Once raised, the steel mini storage building stands 30’x150’x8.5’ in size, and it has (30) rentable storage units inside customers can rent in exchange for a monthly fee.

Protecting the storage units from above is a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 0.5:12 pitch, and (30) 9’x7’ framed openings equipped with (30) 9’x7’ mini storage doors serve as additional project attributes. The self-storage facility also offers a 20-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating in compliance with local building ordinances and out of respect for the climate patterns typical of the region.

Situated along the south bank of the Ohio River, the northern Kentucky city of Milton is a part of Trimble County. It sits about 56 miles, by car, from Louisville and about 1.5 miles across the river from Madison, Indiana.
