Regency Steel Buildings supplied this metal mini storage building for a customer in Harlan, Kentucky, in 2015.

The 30’x70’x8.5’ building with a 2:12 roof pitch boasts gallery blue-colored paint and trim with white doors, and inside it are (14) rentable storage units. Of the (14) units, (7) are 10’x10’ with 9’x7’ openings and (7) are 10’x20’, also with 9’x7’ framed openings. All (14) units have their own 9’x7’ Janus model 650 mini storage doors complete with stainless steel latches.

Additional mini storage building features include a roof vapor barrier to prevent dampness and condensation, 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes, wedge anchors and fasteners and gutters and downspouts. Kentucky engineer-stamped drawings are also included.

In consideration of the typical climate patterns of Harlan, which is prone to hot, humid summers and relatively mild winters, the building was crafted with a wind speed of 90 mph, a ground snow load of 30 lbs. and a roof snow load of 21 lbs.

Located in southeastern Kentucky’s Harlan County, the City of Harlan sits about 5 miles from Chevrolet and 2 miles from Baxter.
