Regency Steel Buildings secured this prefabricated metal mini storage building for a customer in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, in early August of 2019.
Designed to hold its own despite extreme temperature swings, heavy snowfall and other construction hazards common across Minnesota, the building is comprised of top-of-the-line steel components, resulting in unrivaled strength and durability. Once raised, the Copper-colored building, which now serves as a mini storage business, stands 30’x140’x10.5’ in size, while a matching Copper-colored roof with a 0.5:12 pitch sits overhead, providing a solid layer of protection from the Minnesota elements.
In total, the self-storage facility boasts (28) rentable storage units, and each of them features one of (28) 9’x9’ framed openings enclosing one of (28) 9’x9’ mini storage doors. Additional customizations made during construction in adherence to local and regional building code requirements include a 115-mph wind load and a high, 60-pound snow load.
Located in northwestern Minnesota, the city of Thief River Falls is a part of Pennington County. The community lies about 240 miles outside Duluth and about 52 miles outside Grand Forks, North Dakota.
