Mini Storage Building Kit in Cleveland, Minnesota

Regency Steel Buildings supplied this mini storage building for a customer in Cleveland, Minnesota, in November of 2014.

Now an operational mini storage facility with (10) large, rentable units, the building stands 25’x100’x8.5’ and has a 0.5:12 roof pitch. Each of the (10) units is 10’x25’ in size with a 9’x7’ framed opening, and all of the openings are covered by one of (10) 9’x7’ Janus model 650 mini storage doors with stainless steel latches. All (10) doors also feature top draft stops and top header seals.

In the building’s roof is a 2 5/8” vapor barrier to  help prevent dampness and condensation build up. Additional project features include 29-gauge partition panels with galvalume finishes, wedge anchors and fasteners, gutters and downspouts, and Minnesota engineer-stamped drawings.

Given the extremely variable climate and considerable seasonal snowfall of Cleveland and the surrounding region, the metal mini storage building was engineered with a high ground snow load of 50 lbs., a high roof snow load of 35 lbs. and a wind speed of 90 mph.

Located in southern Minnesota’s Le Sueur County, the small city of Cleveland sits about 8 miles from Le Center and 6 miles from St. Peter.
