Mini Storage Buildings Supplied in Fargo, North Dakota

Regency Steel Buildings suppled these (10) metal mini storage buildings in Fargo, North Dakota, in 2015.

Delivered and installed in two phases due to the magnitude of the project, the mini storage complex features (2) climate-controlled buildings with insulation in both the roof and walls and (8) additional buildings with insulation in the roofs, only.

The first phase of the project includes (6) buildings; A, B, C, D, E and F. Building A has a single-slope design and stands 20’x170’x8.5’ with a 3:12 roof pitch. Building B features a gable design and stands 40’x170’x8.5’ with a 2:12 roof pitch. Building C has a single-slope design and stands 10’x170’x9.5’ with a 3:12 roof pitch. Building D is partially exterior and climate-controlled and also boasts a gable design, and stands 70’x170’x9.5’ with a 2:12 roof pitch overhead. Building E is 20’x90’8.5’ in size and has a 2:12 roof pitch, while Building F is 20’x70’x8.5’ and has a 3:12 roof pitch.

The second phase of the project includes the remaining (4) buildings. Building G features a single-slope design and is 20’x200’x8.5’ with a 3:12 roof pitch. Building H is a partially exterior and climate-controlled gable building, and stands 70’x160’9.5’ with a 2:12 roof pitch. Building I is a 40’x160’x8.5’ gable building with a 2:12 roof pitch, while Building J has a 10’x200’ single-slope design and a 3:12 roof pitch.

Distributed throughout the buildings are 4070 steel walk doors with jams and lever locksets, 4’x7’ model 650 roll-up mini storage doors with stainless steel latches and 9’x7’ model 650 roll-up mini storage doors, also with accompanying stainless steel latches. The non-climate-controlled buildings boast roof vapor barriers with 3” R-10 WMP-VRR-faced insulation, while the (2) climate-controlled buildings feature 6” R-19 roof insulation and 4” R-13 wall WMP-VRR-faced insulation. The (6) buildings with gable roofs also feature gutters and downspouts.

Additional mini storage project features include painted roofs, wedge anchors and fasteners, 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes and North Dakota engineer-stamped drawings. The buildings are also engineered with wind speeds of 115 mph, ground snow loads of 50 lbs. and roof snow loads of 35 lbs. in consideration of the heavy snowfall and weather patterns seen throughout the Fargo area.

North Dakota’s largest city, Fargo is a part of Cass County in the eastern part of the state. It sits about 80 miles outside Grand Forks and 23 miles from Hawley.
