Regency Steel Buildings secured this pre-engineered metal RV storage building for a customer in Grand Forks, North Dakota, in early May of 2020.
Designed to withstand heavy snowfall, strong winds, moisture and other North Dakota construction hazards, the building features top-of-the-line steel construction, resulting in superior strength and durability. When erect, the mini storage building is 40’x140’x16’ in size, offering high overhead clearance that creates additional storage space for RVs or other oversize storage needs. It also has a heavy-duty Galvalume steel roof with a 0.5:12 pitch providing protection from above.
The self-storage center has (10) rentable storage units throughout, and each features one of (10) 12’x14 door openings enclosing one of (10) 12’x14’ mini storage doors. A high, 60-pound snow load and a 110-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations included in adherence to local engineering code requirements.
North Dakota’s third-largest community, Grand Forks is located in the east-central part of the state. It sits about 75 miles outside the Fargo metro area; about 145 miles south of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
