Prefabricated Mini Storage Building Kits in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (9) prefabricated steel mini storage buildings in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in January of 2021.

Together, the Regency Storage Systems steel buildings create a large-scale self-storage facility with (213) climate-controlled storage units available for rent.

Building A

The first building in the complex, Building A, is 23’x145’x9’6”/13’4” when raised and has a durable single-slope roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead. Inside it are (17) storage units, among them (3) 5’x15’ units with (3) 4’x8’ framed openings, (1) 15’x8’ unit with (1) 9’x8’ framed opening and (13) 10’x23’ storage units with (13) 9’x8’ framed openings.

Buildings B, C

Buildings B and C in the self-storage complex are identical, with each standing 50’x120’x9’6” when raised. Overhead, both metal mini storage buildings sport gable roofs with 2:12 pitches, and between them, they contain (20) 10’x10’ storage units with (20) 9’x8’ framed openings and (40) 10’x25’ storage units equipped with (40) 9’x8’ framed openings.

Building D

Building D stands 80’x120’x12’ when raised and has a single-slope roof with a 0.75:12 pitch overhead. Inside, it contains (6) 10’x10’ storage units with (6) 9’x8’ framed openings, (10) 10’x30’ units with (10) 9’x10’ framed openings and (9) 13’4”x50’ storage units with (9) 11’x14’ framed door openings.

Buildings E, F

Self-storage Buildings E and F are also identical in size, with both standing 30’x120’9’6” and sporting gable roofs with 2:12 pitches. Between them are (20) 5’x10’ storage units with (20) 4’x8’ framed openings, (4) 10’x5’ units with (4) 9’x8’ framed openings and (40) 10’x25’ storage units, each of which has one of (40) 9’x8’ framed door openings.

Building G

Self-storage building G is 40’x120’x9’6” when erect, and overhead, it features a corrosion-resistant steel gable roof with a 2:12 pitch. Inside Building G are (8) 10’x10’ units with (8) 9’x8’ framed openings and (20) 10’x20’ units with (20) 9’x8’ framed openings.

Building H

Building H is 40’x90’x9’6” and has a gable roof with a 2:12 pitch offering protection from above. Inside it are (16) 5’x10’ storage units with (16) 4’x8’ framed door openings, (2) 10’x5’ units with (2) 9’x8’ framed openings and (14) 10’x20’ units with (14) 9’x8’ framed openings.

Building I

The final Regency Steel building in the self-storage facility, Building I, stands 20’x120’x9’6”/12’10” when raised and has a single-slope roof with a 2:12 pitch. Inside are (3) 5’x10’ units with (5) 4’x8’ framed openings, (1) 10’x5’ unit with (1) 9’x8’ framed opening and (11) 10’x20’ storage units, each with one of (11) 9’x8’ framed openings.

Each rentable storage unit needs its own access point. All 4’x8’ openings contain 4’x8’ Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches, while all 9’x8’ openings contain 9’x8’ Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches. All 9’x10’ framed openings hold 9’x10’ Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches, while all 11’x14’ framed door openings house 11’x14’ non-insulated sectional doors with openers. All doors in the mini storage complex are Bronze in color.

Other building features include 3” of WMP-VRR-faced roof and end wall insulation, 3’ of wainscoting along the buildings’ exteriors and moveable partition panels on six of the nine storage buildings in the complex. The metal mini storage buildings also feature gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control pre-applied to their roofs. All (9) mini storage buildings also have 25.2-psf snow loads and 110-mph wind speed ratings in line with local building codes.

Wyoming’s capital city and the state’s most populated community, Cheyenne is part of Laramie County. The city sits about 178 miles from Casper, Wyoming, and about 46 miles from Fort Collins, Colorado.
