Now used as a self-storage business, the building stands 30’x200’x8.5’ and contains (40) storage units available for rent that generate a steady stream of revenue for the building owner. Grey in color, the Regency Steel mini storage building offers unparalleled structural integrity, and overhead, it has a durable Galvalume gable roof with a modest 0.5:12 pitch that provides reliable protection from the elements.

Inside the steel mini storage building are (20) 10’x10’ storage units, each of which has one of (20) 8’x7’ framed openings, and (20) 10’x20’ units, each featuring one of (20) 8’x7’ framed openings. Filling those (40) framed door openings and providing access into each storage unit are (40) 8’x7’ Silhouette Grey Model 650 mini storage doors.

Other noteworthy customizations include gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control pre-applied to the mini storage building’s roof, which all help guard against condensation and water damage. The building also contains rugged, 29-gauge partition panels that function as dividers between storage units.

Regency Storage Systems also engineered the metal self-storage building to adhere to current building and engineering codes in place in Alamogordo, adding a 25.2-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating. Situated to the west of the Sacramento Mountains, the city of Alamogordo is part of New Mexico’s Otero County.
