The gable roof of the metal mini storage building is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel paneling and has a 0.5:12 pitch, and inside the roof is a ¼” layer of Solar Guard reflective insulation, which improves interior comfort. There are also gutters and downspouts lining the roof, helping prevent condensation and water damage.
Inside, the steel mini storage building has (6) 5’x10’ storage units, and each has one of (6) 4’x7’ framed door openings. There are also (18) 10’x15’ storage units, and each has one of (18) 9’x7’ framed door openings. All smaller door openings enclose one of (6) 4’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors, while the larger door openings each hold one of (18) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors.
Other mini storage building customizations include 21-psf snow loads and 115-mph wind loads, which enhance durability and keep the building compliant with local building codes. Located in central Kansas on the site of Fort Harker, a former military post, the city of Kanopolis is part of Ellsworth County. It lies about 112 miles from Wichita and about 60 miles from Hutchinson.
