Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (3) prefabricated mini storage buildings in Higginsville, Missouri, in late May of 2021 for a repeat customer.
Durable, sustainable and secure, the Regency Storage Systems metal buildings together function as a self-storage facility and generate a steady stream of income for the property owner. Comprised of hardwearing, damage-resistant steel parts, the first building, Building A, is 14’x120’x7.92’/8.5’, while the second structure, Building B, stands 20’x70’x7.67’/8.5’. The third mini storage building in the complex, Building C, is 20’x50’x7.67’/8.5’.
All buildings in the self-storage facility have rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume single-slope roofs with slight 0.5:12 pitches offering overhead protection, and distributed among them are (24) storage units available for rent. There are (12) 10’x14’ units with 9’x7’ framed door openings and (12) 10’x20’ storage units with 9’x7’ framed door openings.
Each storage unit has its own door. In total, the self-storage facility features (24) 9’x7’ Silhouette Gray Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches. There are also 29-gauge partition panels serving as separators between storage units and gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control on the roof, which help prevent water damage caused by condensation.
A 90-mph wind load and a 21-psf roof snow load are additional climate-related customizations that keep the Regency Steel mini storage buildings compliant with local building codes. Located in Lafayette County in west-central Missouri, the city of Higginsville lies 10 miles southeast of Lexington and roughly 20 miles north of Warrensburg.
