Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (4) prefabricated mini storage buildings in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in July of 2021.
Fabricated by Regency Steel Buildings, Inc., the (4) buildings provide optimal strength and durability and together function as a self-storage business. The first building, Building A, is 30’x60’x8.5’ when raised, while the second structure, Building B, is 40’x100’x8.5’. The third building in the complex, Building C, is 30’x140’x8.5’, while the final structure, Building D, is 20’x380’x7.67’/8.5’. All (4) mini storage buildings have heavy-duty Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches overhead, although Buildings A, B and C have gable designs while the roof of Building D has a single-slope design.
Inside, Building A contains (5) 10’x20’ storage units and (8) 10’x10’ units, all of which have 9’x7’ framed door openings. Building B houses (18) 10’x20’ storage units and (4) 10’x10’ units, all of which also have 9’x7’ framed door openings. Building C is home to (13) 10’x20’ units and (16) 10’x10’ units, all of which feature 9’x7’ framed door openings, and Building D contains (38) 10’x20’ storage units with 9’x7’ framed door openings.
Each door opening encloses one of (102) 9’x7’ Janus Model 650 mini storage doors that provide each enter access into his or her storage unit. Other notable customizations include 29-gauge partitions diving the storage units and several enhancements that prevent condensation, including gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control applied to the roof panels.
A high, 50-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating enhance durability with regard for the climate characteristics of Coeur d’Alene and the building codes in place in the region.
