Regency Steel Buildings secured this pair of prefabricated metal mini storage buildings in Palmer, Massachusetts, in April of 2021.
Now in operation as a self-storage facility, the (2) buildings provide optimal strength and durability thanks to high-quality steel construction. Overhead, both mini storage buildings boast robust, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roofs with 0.5:12 pitches, and inside, they contain a total of (59) rentable storage units. Building A contains (20) 10’x’10’ units with 9’x7’ framed door openings and (8) 5’x`10’ storage units with 4’x7’ framed door openings.
Building B contains (20) 10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings, (1) 10’x10’ unit with a 3’x6’8” door opening and (10) 5’x10’ storage units with 4’x7’ framed door openings. Each door opening contains one of either (40) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors or one of (18) 4’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors. All doors are Royal Blue in color and feature stainless-steel latch hardware, and there are also rugged, 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes serving as separators between storge units.
The mini storage buildings have a number of climate- and weather-related accommodations, including gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control pre-applied to their roof panels. Both structures also feature 28-psf snow loads and high, 124-mph wind speed ratings in line with local building codes.
