Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pre-engineered mini storage building in Mineral Springs, Arkansas in February of 2022.
Engineered by Regency Steel Buildings, the Tan structure now functions as a self-storage business, generating a steady revenue stream for the building owner. When raised, the metal mini storage building is 15’x190’x7.875’/8.5’, and overhead, it features a durable, corrosion-resistant single-slope Galvalume roof with a modest 0.5:12 pitch.
Inside, the steel mini storage building has (19) 10’x15’ storage units available for rent, and each has one of (19) 9’x7’ framed door openings providing entry inside. Each of those openings encloses one of (19) 9’x7’ Model 650 Cedar Red mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches, offering each renter individualized access into his or her storage unit. The building also contains heavy-duty, 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes, which function as dividers between storage units.
Other notable mini storage building customizations include a 2.5” WMP-VRR-faced roof vapor barrier, which helps control condensation, and gutters and downspouts, which divert water away from the structure’s roof and foundation. A 10-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations made in line with local building codes.
Located in southwestern Arkansas, the city of Mineral Springs is part of Howard County. It sits 7 miles southwest of Nashville, Arkansas, and about 5 miles north of Tollette.
