Regency Steel Buildings sourced this prefabricated steel self-storage building in Douglas, Wyoming, in March of 2022.

Spacious, sturdy and highly customized to meet the owner’s precise needs, the building features premium-quality steel construction and now functions as a self-storage business. When erect, the Regency Storage Systems mini storage building is 24’x120’x8.5’ in size and features a Galvalume gable roof that resists corrosion and sports a modest 0.5:12 pitch.

Inside the self-storage facility are (24) 10’x20’ storage units available for rent. Each has one of (24) 9’x7’ framed door openings enclosing one of (24) 9’x7’ painted Model 650 mini storage doors offering renter access inside. The building also features heavy-duty, 29-gauge partitions, which separate each storage unit from the next.

Several additional building customizations help the building maintain structural integrity by guarding against condensation and water damage. The mini storage building has DripX condensation control pre-applied to its roof, and the roof also has gutters and downspouts that divert water away from the building.

A 36.12-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional accommodations added with respect for the climate characteristics of the Douglas area. Part of Converse County in east-central Wyoming, the city of Douglas sits about 135 miles north of Laramie and roughly 49 miles east of Casper.
