Mini Storage Buildings Supplied in Chardon, Nebraska

Regency Steel Buildings sourced these (3) pre-engineered mini storage buildings for a customer in Chadron, Nebraska, in March of 2022.

Fabricated by Regency Steel Buildings, the (3) metal mini storage buildings together undergo use as a self-storage facility. Comprised of ultra-durable steel parts, the first building, Building A, is 40’x150’x8.5’ in size, while the second structure, Building B, is 30’x150’x8.5’. The third mini storage building in the complex, Building C, is 30’x140’x8.5’.

Overhead, each metal self-storage building sports a hardy Galvalume steel gable roof with a modest 0.5:12 pitch, and in total, the self-storage business contains (96) storage units available for rent.

Building A has (8) 10’x10’ storage units and (26) 10’x20’ units, all of which have 8’x7’ framed door openings. Inside Building B are (6) 10’x10’ units and (26) 10’x15’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings, while Building C offers (6) 10’x10’ units and (24) 10’x15’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings. Each door opening encloses one of (96) 9’x7’ Model 650 Bronze-colored mini storage doors with stainless-steel latch hardware.

Separating each storage unit from the next are 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes, and 2.5” WMP-VRR-faced roof vapor barriers serve as additional customizations, helping protect the buildings against condensation. Gutters and downspouts located along the roofs also help prevent condensation, while 25.2-psf snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings keep the steel mini storage buildings compliant with local building codes.

Located in northwestern Nebraska, the city of Chadron is part of Dawes County. It sits about 55 miles north of Alliance and about a 100-mile drive from Scottsbluff.
