Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pre-engineered mini storage building in Grand Forks, North Dakota, in July of 2022.

Fabricated by Regency Steel Buildings, Inc., the building now serves as a self-storage business and features (38) storage units available for rent in various sizes. Standing 50’x168’x12’/16’2”, the Gray mini storage building has a single-slope Galvalume roof with a 0.5:12 pitch and DripX condensation control pre-applied to it offering protection overhead.

Inside the self-storage building are (11) 5’x5’ units with 4’x8’ door openings, (2) 10’x5’ units with 4’x8’ door openings, and (6) 10’x5’ units with 8’x8’ framed door openings. The metal mini storage building also contains (7) 14’x20’ units with 10’x10’ openings, (7) 14’x30’ units with 12’x14’ door openings, and (5) 14’x35’ units with 12’x14’ openings.

Dividing the storage units are heavy-duty 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes, and (2) 5’ painted hallways provide access to various storage units. Each unit also has its own Patriot Red door. In total, the self-storage facility has (2) 4’x7’ entry doors and (14) 4’x8’, (6) 6’x8’, and (7) 10’x10’ Model 650 mini storage doors. Also included are (12) 12’x14’ Model 1950 roll-coil doors with chain hoists.

Other climate-related customizations include gutters, downspouts, a 50.4-PSF snow load, and a 110-mph wind rating. Located in Grand Forks County in eastern North Dakota, Grand Forks sits about 75 miles from the Fargo – Moorhead region and roughly 145 miles south of Manitoba, Canada.
