Regency Steel Buildings supplied this prefabricated mini storage building in Melrose, Minnesota, in April of 2022.
Engineered by Regency Steel Buildings, Inc., the mini-storage building now functions as a self-storage business and helps generate a steady stream of revenue for its owner. When constructed, the mini storage building is 45’x168’x14.1’/16’ and is comprised of durable, heavy-duty steel parts, leading to reliable protection for goods and assets stored inside.
Overhead, the metal mini storage building features a hardy, corrosion-resistant Galvalume single-slope roof with a slight 0.5:12 pitch, and inside are (12) storage units available for rent. All (12) units are 14’x40’ in size and feature 12’x14’ framed door openings, and each storage unit includes one of (12) 12’x14’ Royal Blue Model 1000 roll-coil doors with stainless-steel latches.
The building contains rugged, 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes, which break up the interior of the building and create separate storage areas for renters. It also has DripX condensation control pre-applied to its roof panels. Gutters and downspouts along the roof line further help control condensation, while a 42-PSF snow load and a 115-mph wind rating keep the shop compliant with local building codes.
Located in central Minnesota, the city of Melrose is part of Stearns County and the St. Cloud metropolitan area. The community lies about 34 miles northwest of St. Cloud and about 100 miles northwest of Minneapolis.
