Supplied for a repeat Regency Steel Buildings client, the insulated, climate-controlled self-storage building helps the building owner bring in a steady stream of revenue from consumers who rent out one of the business’s (32) storage units. The building is 30’x150’x10.5’/11.15’ and comprised of rugged, quality steel parts, and its single-slope, the standing-seam roof is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel sheeting and has a 0.25:12 pitch.
Inside, the metal self-storage building contains the following mix of storage units.

- (13) 10’x15’ units with 8’x7’ framed door openings

Solar Guard insulation delivers high thermal performance while helping keep items stored inside at consistent temperatures. Gutters and downspouts along the roof help divert moisture away from the building, helping prevent condensation. Regency Storage Systems also supplied (2) 12” base steps for the mini storage building and engineered it with a 115-mph wind load and a roof snow load of 25.2 psf.
