Designed to accommodate traditional and oversize storage needs, the mini storage building helps fill a growing demand for self-storage in northeastern Nebraska. Comprised of sturdy, ultra-durable steel parts, the building meets or exceeds the building codes in place in the region and is 10’x180’x9.1’/9.5’ once erect.

The mini storage building houses (18) 10’x10’ storage units inside. Each unit has a 8’x9’ framed door opening holding one of (18) 9’x8’ TracRite Model 944 mini storage doors with side brushes, top draft stops and SpaceGuard latches.

Overhead, the building has a Galvalume single-slope roof with a modest 0.5:12 pitch, and the roof features gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control, which help control condensation while keeping goods stored inside safe and dry. The self-storage building also has heavy-duty 29-gauge partitions inside that break the interior into individual storage units.

A 112-mph wind rating and a 25.2-psf snow load are additional customizations made to enhance durability given the climate characteristics of the region. Part of Dakota County, South Sioux City sits about 75 miles northeast of Norfolk, Nebraska, and about 95 miles north-northwest of Omaha.
