Construction is complete on this self-storage facility in Cortez, Colorado, bringing another 54 storage units to Colorado’s growing High Desert region. The client had used other metal building suppliers for past projects and wanted to expand his existing self-storage facility, but chose to work with Mini Storage Outlet this time around due to the superior customer service the company provides.
While the high-security facility has plenty of traditional indoor storage space, it also offers outdoor, fenced-in parking for boats, RVs, trailers and cars. The business has storage units in five different sizes, and (6) of the units are large pull-through storage units that feature doors on both ends and span the entire length of the building.
Ideal for commercial as well as residential renters, each storage unit has private access and its own Cedar Red mini storage door with a stainless-steel latch. There are also heavy-duty 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes and top partition trim that separate each storage unit in the complex from the next.
The mini storage building has several other notable customizations, among them steps leading up to the building and roof purlins spaced 4’ apart, as opposed to the traditional 6’.
Engineered to comply with 2015 International Building Code requirements, the mini storage building can accommodate heavy snow loads and features DripX condensation control along the roof, helping it stay watertight. Great for keeping furniture, business assets and other personal belongings dry, safe and protected from the elements, this building enhances and expands self-storage opportunities for residents and business owners across southwestern Colorado.
