Regency Steel Buildings delivered this metal mini storage building to a business owner in Amherst, Colorado, helping fulfill a growing demand for storage space in the largely agricultural northeastern part of the state.
Delivered in March of 2023, the metal mini storage building kit created a 26-unit self-storage facility that generates a steady revenue stream for the owner. The building has a White exterior with a matching roof, and the roof has gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control spread across its panels, all of which help prevent leaks, mold and mildew.
Separating the inside of the building into individual storage units are moveable 29-gauge dividers with Galvalume finishes. Inside, the 30’x90’x8.5’ mini storage business has the following storage units available for rent.
- (12) 5’x10’ units with 4’x7’ doors
- (14) 10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ doors
All doors are White, matching the business’s exterior paint, and they all feature top draft stops and chateau bezel latches. Regency also engineered the mini storage building to have a 29.4-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind load to meet local building code requirements.
A small community in Phillips County, Amherst sits roughly 160 miles east of Greeley.
