Insulated Metal Mini Storage Building Kit in Belleville, Illinois

The owner of several existing Illinois self-storage facilities and Regency Steel mini storage buildings saw a need for more storage space in the Belleville area and purchased another Regency Steel building to house a new mini storage facility.

Designed for consumers with regular storage needs as well as those seeking storage space for boats, RVs or other oversize items, the 45’x84’x14.125’/16’ steel building contains (6) spacious 14’x45’ storage units, each with its own 12’x14’ Model 1000 roll-coil door. The mini storage building’s single-slope roof has a 0.5:12 pitch and gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control pre-applied to it, helping keep mold, mildew and moisture at bay. It also contains a 2.5” layer of WMP-VRR-faced insulation, allowing the inside of the building to maintain consistent temperatures ideal for storage.

The building also features 29-gauge Galvalume dividers, which break up the interior into individually rentable storage units. Other customizations include a 115-mph wind rating and a 25.2-psf roof snow load, both of which meet local building code requirements. Part of the greater St. Louis metro area, the city of Belleville is the county seat of St. Clair County. The community sits about 107 miles outside Marion, Illinois.
