Regency Steel Buildings manufactured the building kits for these (2) custom steel mini storage buildings before sending them to North Sioux City, South Dakota, in August of 2023.
Supplied for use in the profitable self-storage industry, the buildings contain a combined (38) storage units, offering serious income potential for the facility owner. Both mini storage buildings have 29-gauge steel partitions serving as walls between storage units, and they both have Galvalume gable roofs with 0.5:12 pitches providing protection overhead.
Both roofs have DripX condensation control pre-applied to their panels, helping prevent mold, mildew and water damage, and they also have gutters and downspouts that keep rain or snow from collecting on top.
Building A is 30’x150’xc8.5’ and has the following storage unit mix inside:
- (15) 10’x10’ storage units
- (15) 10’x20’ storage units
Building B is 30’x40’x8.5’ and has the following storage unit mix inside:
- (4) 10’x10’ storage units
- (4) 10’x20’ storage units
Engineered to meet the building codes in place in southeastern South Dakota, the mini storage buildings also have 25.2-psf snow loads and 115-mph wind ratings. Part of the Sioux City IA-NE-SD metro area, North Sioux City sits roughly 80 miles southeast of Sioux Falls.
