Regency Steel Buildings, Inc., fabricated and supplied these (4) metal mini storage buildings for a Richlands, Virginia self-storage complex in May of 2023.
The (4) custom steel buildings all feature Brilliant White exteriors with matching trim, and inside, they have 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes creating individual storage units for rent. Altogether, the self-storage facility has (36) storage units available for rent in several sizes, making it well-suited for consumers with a wide range of storage needs.
Special customizations include 2.5” WMP-VRR-faced vapor barriers in the roofs that help prevent moisture from making its way inside and damaging goods. The buildings also feature gutters and downspouts that add a decorative element to the buildings’ exteriors while helping prevent mold, mildew and water damage.
The buildings come in the following sizes and feature these unit mixes inside.
Building A
20’x80’x7.667’/8.5’; single-slope roof with a 0.5:12 pitch

Buildings B & C
15’x80’x7.875’/8.5’; single-slope roofs with a 0.5:12 pitches
- (8) 10’x15’ storage units each
Building D
30’x60’x8.5’; gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch
- (6) 10’x30’ storage units
Each storage unit has its own Matte Black Model 944 door with a Spaceguard latch, and each building complies with local building codes, boasting a 115-mph wind load and a 36.12-psf roof snow load.
