Steel Car, Boat & RV Storage Building Kit in Casper, Wyoming

When the owners of a Casper, Wyoming self-storage facility wanted to expand it and add more units to the property, they asked Regency Steel Buildings to supply the new mini storage building.

Sent to Casper in May of 2023, the contemporary, 50’x196’x14.917’/17’ mini storage building has Charcoal exterior paint, a combination of Charcoal and Crimson Red trim and White or Bronze doors, all of which boost its street appeal. Ideal for vehicle, boat or RV storage, the climate-controlled self-storage facility has 6” of fiberglass insulation in the roof and another 4” in the walls, all of which features WMP-VRR facing on the side facing inward.

The self-storage facility has the following storage units available for rent, with heavy-duty steel partitions serving as dividers between them.

• (8) 24’6”x50’ storage units with 14’x14’ framed door openings

Each renter accesses his or her rented unit through one of (8) 3’x7’ walk doors with lever locks and closers. There are also several wind-rated White and Brown doors offering general access into the business.

Other notable upgrades and building customizations include gutters and downspouts on the roof that help keep everything stored inside the facility dry and (4) 24”x12” windows that let natural light into the main part of the building. In accordance with local building codes, the mini storage building also has a 36.12-psf roof snow load and a 120-mph wind rating.

Wyoming’s second-biggest city in terms of population, Casper is part of Natrona County, in the east-central part of the state. Neighboring communities include Bar Nunn, Mills and Evansville as well as several unincorporated communities, among them Allendale and Red Buttes.
