Intended for use in the self-storage industry, which numerous economists have deemed recession-proof, the building stands 20’x200’x8.5’ in size and has (40) available storage units distributed throughout. The roof of the mini storage facility is comprised of rugged Galvalume sheeting and has a 3:12 pitch, and (40) framed openings housing (40) 9’x7’ mini storage doors offer easy access for renters into each separate storage unit.
To better equip the building for its geographic location while maintaining compliance with appropriate building code requirements, a 20-pound snow load and a 138-mph wind speed rating are additional project characteristics. Situated just north of the Florida Panhandle, Brewton, Alabama, is part of southern Alabama’s Escambia County. It sits about 86 miles outside Mobile and roughly 60 miles north of Pensacola, Florida.
