Regency Steel Buildings supplied these prefabricated metal mini storage buildings in Rainbow City, Alabama, in 2015.
Now operating as Red Barn Storage, the first phase of the project involves (2) attached properties, one of which features a bold, red barn design. The first is 30’x90’x8.5’ in size, and the second, 30’x110’x8.5’. Both buildings have 0.5:12 roof pitches.
The project includes plans for the development of (2) additional buildings in the near future, and additional mini storage project features include a slab layout, gutters and downspouts, and roofing wall, trim and sheeting. The complex also features WMP-VR vinyl-faced insulation in its roof, an erection guide on the building process, Alabama engineer-stamped building permit drawings and a package including all necessary bolts, screws, hardware and sealant.
Due to the typical climate of the Rainbow City area, a wind speed of 115 mph, a ground snow load of 30 lbs. and a roof snow load of 21 lbs. were all engineered during construction.
Set within northeastern Alabama’s Etowah County, Rainbow City sits about 17 miles outside Ashville and 6 miles from Gadsden.
