Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (2) metal RV storage buildings in Billings, Montana in February of 2021.
Engineered by Regency Steel Buildings, they together function as a boat, RV and self-storage business, producing a regular revenue stream for their owner. The first building in the complex, Building A, is 40’x42’x16’, while the second, Building B, stands 30’x36’x12’ in size. Overhead, each metal mini storage building has a durable Galvalume single-slope roof with a 0.5:12 pitch guarding against corrosion and the elements.
Inside Building A are (3) 14’x40’ RV storage units, each of which has one of (3) 12’x14’ framed door openings. Building B contains (3) 12’x30’ storage units, with each housing one of (3) 10’x10’ framed openings. Providing renters access into each storage unit are (3) 10’x10’ Model 650 mini storage doors and (3) 12’x14’ Model 1000 roll-coil doors, with all doors in the mini storage facility sporting stainless-steel latches. There are also heavy-duty 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes separating the storage units.
The buildings also have several customizations that help protect against condensation and water damage. They have gutters and downspouts, and they also have DripX condensation control pre-applied to their roof panels. Other enhancements include 33.11-psf snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings, which keep the mini storage buildings compliant with local building code requirements.
Montana’s largest city, Billings is part of Yellowstone County. The city sits roughly 144 miles east of Bozeman and about 144 moles from Miles City.
