Mini Storage Building Kit in Birmingham, Alabama

Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pre-engineered metal mini storage building for a customer in Birmingham, Alabama, in October, 2015.

Freighted directly to the Alabama jobsite, this building is 40’x80’x8.5’ in size. The mini storage facility’s roof has a 0.5:12 pitch, and inside it are (22) rentable units varying in size. These include (8) 5’x10’ units with accompanying 4’x7’ Janus Model 650 doors and (14) 10’x20’ units with 9’x7’ Janus Model 650 doors. Also included in this mini storage project are engineer-stamped drawings for building materials and a base-clip design.

To enhance durability with respect to the weather and climate typical of the Birmingham area, this mini storage building also features a wind rating of 115 C, a ground snow load of 50 pounds and a roof snow load of 35 lbs.

The state of Alabama’s largest city, Birmingham is a part of north-central Alabama’s Jefferson County. It is located about 58 miles outside Tuscaloosa and about 10 miles from Hoover.
