Self-Storage Building Kit in Caruthersville, Missouri

Regency Steel Buildings supplied this prefabricated self-storage building for a customer in Caruthersville, Missouri, in late June of 2014.

The storage building stands 30’x160’x8.5’ in size and boasts a hardwearing roof with a 0.5:12 pitch. Inside the mini storage complex are (36) rentable storage units, (6) of which are 5’x10’ units with 4’x7’ framed openings, and (30) of which are 10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings. Installed in those openings are (6) 4’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors and (30)9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors. Additional mini storage building features include gutters and downspouts, Missouri engineer-stamped drawings, wedge anchors and fasteners and 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes. 2 ¾” vapor barrier is also installed in the building’s roof, which helps prevent the buildup of moisture and the formation of condensation.

To enhance durability, this building is designed with a wind speed of 90 mph C, a ground snow load of 10 lbs. and a roof snow load of 7 lbs. Located in southeastern Missouri’s Pemiscot County (in the state’s “bootheel,”) the city of Caruthersville sits about 94.8 miles outside Memphis, Tennessee, and about 77.3 miles from Jonesboro, Arkansas.
