Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (4) metal mini storage buildings in Charleston, Utah, in 2015.
Together, they serve as a mini storage complex. The first building is 25’x132’x12’ with a 3:12 roof pitch, while the second stands 25’x144’x12’ with a 1:12 roof pitch. The third building and largest building is 40’x252’x12’ with a 3:12 roof pitch, while the fourth and final building is 40’x210’x12’ with a 3.5:12 roof pitch.
Inside the first building are (6) 12’x25’ units, (1) 12’x22’ unit, (1) 12’x18’ unit, (1) 12’x14’ unit, (1) 12’x12’ unit and (1) 12’x10’ unit. All three units feature 11’x10’ framed openings. Inside the second building are (12) 12’x10’ units and (12) 12’x15’ units, which also all feature 11’x10’ framed openings. The third building houses (6) 14’x40’ units with 12’x14’ openings, (14) 12’x15’ units with 11’x10’ openings and (14) 12’x25’ units, also with 11’x10’ openings. The fourth and final building is home to (6) 14’x40’ units with 12’x12’ openings and (9) 14’x40’ units with 12’x14’ openings.
Distributed throughout the mini storage complex are (63) 11’x10’ Janus model 650 mini storage doors with accompanying stainless steel latches, (6) 12’x12’ doors of the same variety, and (21) 12’x14’ roll-coil Janus model 1000 doors with stainless steel latches.
In consideration of the typical weather patterns of the region, a 2 5/8” roof vapor barrier was included in all buildings during construction, as well as a wind speed of 115 mph, a high ground snow load of 97 lbs. and a high roof snow load of 67.9 lbs.
