Erected in Colorado Springs, Colorado, these Regency-brand mini storage buildings were purchased from Regency Steel Buildings in 2011. The project features six unique buildings of varying sizes with a mix of single-sloped and gabled roofs. Among the buildings are a total of seventy six Janus roll-up mini storage doors sixty nine are 8’x7’ and the remaining seven sized 4’x7’.
All six buildings were constructed with R-8 roof insulation (2 5/8 insulation with a vapor barrier), wind loads of 100 mph C, and ground snow loads (GSLs) of 43 lbs. Due to the area’s tendency for precipitation, in addition to the roof insulation, all six buildings also have gutters and downspouts in order to prevent condensation.
Colorado Springs is located about 65 miles south of Colorado’s capital city of Denver, about 16 miles from Fountain and eight miles outside Fort Carson.
