Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (2) pre-engineered self-storage buildings in East Helena, Montana in December of 2020.
Additions to an existing self-storage facility, the buildings contain a combined (34) new storage units available for rent. Engineered by Regency Storage Systems, the first building is 40’x288’x14.333’/16’ once erect, while the second is 15’x130’x8.5’/9.125’ when raised.
Overhead, both buildings sport rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume single-slope roofs with 0.5:12 pitches, and the buildings connect to one another along the back sidewall. Inside the first building are (13) 10’x15’ storage units, each of which has one of (13) 9’x7 framed openings, while the second mini storage building contains (21) 13.71’x40’ storage units equipped with (21) 12’x14’ framed openings.
Each storage unit has its own door, and between the (2) buildings are (13) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors and (21) 12’x14’ Model 1000 light commercial doors. There are also 29-gauge partition panels serving as dividers between storage units.
The pair of metal mini storage buildings also feature several customizations and upgrades, including painted roof panels, gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control on the roof, which helps prevent moisture damage. A 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30.1-psf snow load are additional features added in compliance with local building codes.
