Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pair of prefabricated steel mini storage buildings for a customer in Freeland, Michigan, in June of 2020.
Durable and low maintenance, they now undergo use as a mini storage facility, giving residents in the area a place to store things they can’t fit elsewhere. The first metal mini storage building is 40’x120’x15’ in size, and the second, 50’x144’x17’.
Overhead, both buildings feature heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches that provide superior protection against the elements and damage. Between the mini storage buildings are (15) framed openings, which include (7) 12’x12’ door openings enclosing (7) 12’x12’ mini storage doors and (8) 12’x14’ framed openings, each enclosing one of (8) 12’x14’ overhead doors.
In compliance with local building codes, both self-storage buildings also feature 35-pound snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings. Located within Tittabawassee Township in Michigan’s Saginaw County, Freeland is an unincorporated community that shares a zip code with Midland, Williams, Frankenlust, Kochville, Thomas, Richland, and Ingersoll townships.
