The striking, cobalt blue structure stands 45’x80’x14’ in size, and it now serves as a mini storage facility. Its roof has a 2:12 pitch and is made of rugged, long-lasting Galvalume metal. Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, the mini storage building boasts (4) framed openings, which include (2) 16’x12’ openings enclosing (2) 16’x12’ insulated sectional garage doors and (2) 3070 openings intended for walk doors.
A snow load of 30 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 120 mph serve as additional features, both of which were added in consideration of the climate and weather characteristics of Harlan and the surrounding region. A home-rule class city in eastern Kentucky’s Harlan County, Harlan is located about 22 miles outside Cumberland and about nine miles outside Wallins Creek.
