Now in use as a self-storage business, the building boasts premium-quality steel construction and protects renters’ stored goods from the elements, theft, pests and other potential hazards. Once erect, the metal self-storage building is 40’x70’x8.5’ in size, while its roof is comprised of rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume sheeting and has a slight 0.5:12 pitch.
Offering access into each storage unit is one of (18) 9’x7’ framed openings, each of which features one of (18) 9’x7’ metal mini storage doors. Part of the Kansas City metro area, the city of Higginsville is part of west-central Missouri’s Lafayette County. It lies about 22 miles north of Warrensburg and about 50 miles outside Sedalia, Missouri.
