Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pre-engineered steel mini storage building for a customer in Hudson, Texas, in mid-March of 2020.
Durable, secure and highly energy efficient, the 22-gauge arch-style metal building functions as a mini storage facility and stands 50’x200’x8.5’ in size. Constructed using top-quality steel parts, it offers unrivaled structural integrity, and a robust and corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 0.5:12 pitch provides a reliable layer of protection from above.
Within that roof is a layer of R-13 fiberglass insulation, and R-13 insulation also sits within the walls, lowering energy expenses and enhancing interior comfort. Other notable customizations include (42) door openings, among them (40) 6’x7’ openings enclosing (40) 6’x7’ doors and (2) 4070 walk door openings, each containing one of (2) 4070 walk doors.
A 5-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating make the self-storage facility well-equipped for life in Texas while adhering to local building and engineering code requirements. Part of Angelina County in east-central Texas, the city of Hudson sits just outside Lufkin and about 30 miles northeast of Groveton.
