Regency Steel Buildings supplied this prefabricated steel mini storage building in Lexington, Missouri, in February of 2022.

Fabricated by Regency Storage Systems, the metal building now functions as a self-storage facility and is 40’x100’x8.5’ in size. Comprised of quality, heavy-duty steel parts, the building offers unmatched structural integrity, and overhead, it features a hardwearing Galvalume gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch.

Inside, the self-storage building contains (24) storage units the owner rents out in exchange for fees. There are (8) 10’x10’ storage units with 9’x7’ framed door openings and (16) 10’x20’ storage units, also with 9’x7’ framed door openings. Each of those door openings encloses one of (24) 9’x7’ painted Janus Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches. There are also heavy-duty, 29-gauge partition panels serving as separators between storage units.

Other mini storage building customizations include gutters and downspouts, which help prevent condensation and water damage, and DripX condensation control pre-applied to the roof, which serves a similar purpose. A 21-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations made in adherence to local building codes.
