Climate Controlled Mini-Storage Buildings Supplied in Marion, Illinois

Mini Storage Outlet supplied this set of (4) metal mini storage buildings in Marion, Illinois, in 2014.

Together, they operate as a mini storage complex. The first of the (4) buildings, stands 20’x110’x8.5’, and the second, stands 30’x100’x8.5’ in size. The third building, is 10’x240’8.5’ and the fourth and final building, is 10’x130’x8.5’ in size. All buildings have 0.5:12 roof pitches as well as a 2 5/8” R-8 roof insulation vapor barrier to help prevent the formation of condensation. Building B also boasts gutters and downspouts to keep rainwater away from the roof and foundation.

Inside the first building are 10’x20’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings and doors, while the second building boasts 10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ openings and doors. The third building is home to 10’x10’ units, also with 9’x7’ framed openings and doors, while the fourth building houses both 5’x10’ units with 4’x7’ openings and doors and 10’x10’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings and doors. Also included in the project are (20) 4’x7’ Model 650 mini storage roll-up doors and (58) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage roll-up doors.

With the typical climate and weather patterns of the Marion area in mind, this building is engineered with a wind speed of 90 mph, a ground snow load of 30 lbs. and a roof snow load of 21 lbs.

Located in southern Illinois’ Williamson County, Marion sits about 8 miles outside Pittsburg and 3 miles from Spillertown.
