A Regency Steel customer noticed an ongoing need for more storage space in south-central Pennsylvania and bought this mini storage building to house a new self-storage facility in Everett.
The 30’x50’x8.5’ climate-controlled self-storage center has an eye-catching Light Stone exterior with a combination of Hunter Green and Light Stone trim and caters to consumers with traditional storage needs. A gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch provides protection overhead, and gutters and downspouts line the roof, helping prevent leaks or water from seeping inside or damaging the building’s exterior walls.
The roof also contains a 2.5” layer of WMP-VRR-faced fiberglass insulation, which keeps interior temperatures stable and ideal for storage while lowering the business’s energy expenses. As far as storage space, the building has (10) 10’x15’ storage units renters can access 24/7 through one of (10) 9’x7’ Evergreen Model 650 mini storage doors and 29-gauge steel dividers separating the storage units.
The building owner also verified local building codes ahead of fabrication and Regency Steel engineered it accordingly, adding a 36.12-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating. A borough located in Bedford County, Everett sits just north of Earlston and about 10 miles east of Bedford.
