Metal Self-Storage Building Kit in Thief River Falls, Minnesota

The owner of several existing Regency Steel mini storage buildings in Minnesota wanted to broaden his self-storage empire in the state and purchased this new metal self-storage building in May of 2023.

Featuring (24) large, 10’x20’ storage units separated by heavy-duty steel partitions, the mini storage building is suitable for renters with traditional self-storage needs and has sturdy, reliable steel construction that protects stored goods from the elements, potential theft and other hazards. Standing 40’x120’x9.5’, the Charcoal-colored steel building with matching trim has bright Cedar Red doors providing private, round-the-clock access into each renter’s storage unit.

Engineered for Minnesota’s variable climate and heavy winter snowfall, the building features gutters and downspouts with kickouts along the roof that prevent rain or snow from pooling on the roof or making its way inside. It also had DripX condensation control pre-applied to its steel roof panels ahead of delivery, creating another layer of protection against condensation, mold and mildew.

Other mini storage building customizations include a high, 50.4-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating, which enhance durability with respect for the climate of the area. Part of Pennington County in northwestern Minnesota, the city of Thief River Falls sits about 52 miles northeast of Grand Forks, North Dakota.
