Regency Steel Buildings sourced this pre-engineered steel mini storage building in Milan, Tennessee, in January of 2022.
Low maintenance and structurally sound, the insulated Regency Storage Systems steel building is 80’x150’x10’ and now serves as a self-storage facility. Comprised of rugged, quality steel components, the mini storage building offers superior protection for goods stored inside, and overhead, the building has a hardwearing Galvalume steel gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch providing protection from the elements.
Inside, the metal mini storage building contains (81) rentable storage units in a variety of different sizes. There is (1) 5’x10’ unit with a 3’x7’ framed door opening, (19) 5’x10’ units with 4’x7’ framed openings, (1) 5’x20’ unit with a 3’x7’ door opening and (5) 10’x5’ units with 8’x7’ framed openings.
Also included are (21) 10’x10’ units with 8’x7’ framed openings, (14) 10’x15’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed openings and (20) 10’x20’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings. There are also a total of (87) doors distributed throughout the steel self-storage facility. There are (2) 3’x7’ mini storage doors, (19) 4’x7’ doors, (60) 8’x7’ doors and (6) 4’x6’ entry doors that provide access into the main part of the storage building.
Additional customizations include (6) 5’ hallways with painted panels, 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes that separate the storage units, and gutters and downspouts along the roof, which help prevent condensation. There is also 4” of insulation installed in the walls of the mini storage building and 6” of fiberglass insulation installed in the roof.
Other, climate-related customizations include a 7-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating. Part of Gibson County in western Tennessee, Milan sits about 24 miles north of Jackson, Tennessee, and about 12 miles northeast of Humboldt.
