Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pre-engineered self-storage building for a customer in Milton, Kentucky, in early May, 2016.
The storage building is crafted from high-end steel components and now functions as a mini storage complex. It boasts a finished size of 30’x180’x8.5’, and its roof overhead is made of hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 0.5:12 roof pitch. Inside the self-storage building are a total of (44) framed openings, including (32) 9’x7’ openings enclosing (32) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors and (12) 4’x7’ openings enclosing (12) 4’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors.
To maintain a consistent dry environment throughout the year, R-10 metal building insulation was installed within the roof and walls, while a wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs. serve as additional mini storage project features.
Located in north-central Kentucky’s Trimble County along the south bank of the Ohio River, the city of Milton is situated about 1.5 miles from Madison, Indiana, and about 55 miles outside Louisville, Kentucky.
