Regency Steel Buildings delivered this prefabricated mini storage building in Highland, Illinois, in June of 2022.
Engineered by Regency Storage Systems, the mini storage building offers unmatched strength and durability, making it well-suited for housing valuable assets and protecting them from damage or theft. When constructed, the self-storage building is 50’x192’x12’ in size and contains (32) storage units available for rent.
Overhead, the steel mini storage building has a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch, and the roof has DripX condensation control pre-applied to its panels, which enhances water tightness. Inside, the mini storage facility houses (32) 12’x25’ storage units, and each has one of (32) 10’8”x10’ framed door openings enclosing a 10’8”x10’ painted mini storage door.
Separating the storage units are heavy-duty 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes, and the mini storage building also has several customizations that help prevent condensation and keep the building compliant with local building and engineering codes. There are gutters and downspouts along the roof, which help guard against water damage, and the building also features a 25.2-psf roof snow load and a 101-mph wind load.
Located in western Illinois, the city of Highland is part of Madison County and the Metro-East region of Greater St. Louis. It sits about 80 miles south of Springfield and about 32 miles east-northeast of St. Louis, Missouri.
